Sea Education Association (SEA) Woods Hole High School Program

This program allows rising juniors, seniors, and recent grads to spend three weeks in Woods Hole designing research projects, working in labs, or even completing at-sea voyages on sailing research vessels.

Shoals Marine Laboratory Pre-College Programs

Operated by Cornell University, this intensive program on Appledore Island in Maine allows high schoolers to conduct hands-on labs, deploy oceanographic equipment, and earn college credit.

UC San Diego Marine Science Research Scholars

This tiered program collaborates with Scripps Institution of Oceanography to provide hybrid learning activities. Students in high school will start with foundational courses that advance to independent research in their courses.

Roger Williams University Marine Biology Camp

This week-long residency for rising juniors and seniors is based on the waters in and around Rhode Island. Students participate in field and lab activities identical in scope to first-year undergraduate marine biology students.
